What to expect in this role


Janio is a cross-border logistics platform that provides an integrated end-to-end logistics solution to merchants across Southeast Asia (SEA). At our core we operate as a smart logistics solutions provider, serving merchants and logistics partners and connecting industry players across the globe.

Through Janio, we strive to create a truly integrated network that brings together every key player to become the backbone supporting SEA’s growing e-commerce ecosystem. Looking ahead, our platform would look to incorporate elements of AI and machine learning to provide a suite of smart solutions for real-time tracking, route optimization, warehouse management and dynamic forecasting to truly become a data-intelligent platform.


The success candidate will oversee:
  1. Following up with inbound leads by initiating sales calls and meetings
  2. Prospecting of leads and cold-calling to build a pipeline of businesses
  3. Converting leads to clients and closing new deals with existing customers by
    a. Gather information about customer’s business products and process, and their logistics challenges
    b. Using data to identify opportunities to grow the business with existing customers
    c. Able to do sales presentations with confidence to internal and external stakeholders
  4. Supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships
  5. Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers
  6. Responsible for sales goals to aid in achieving targets
  7. Uphold rapport with clients and prospects
  8. Updating sales activities in internal CRM tools in a timely manner
  9. Able to support the negotiation process of rates, terms and condition of deals

  • Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience in a similar position within logistics field or adjacent industry
  • Excellent customer service feeling, communication skills and commercial acumen
  • Good organization, coordination and multi-tasking skills
  • Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven business development / sales record will be advantage
  • Independent and responsible.  
  • Able to influence and negotiate with customers using active listening and persuasion skills
