What to expect in this role


Janio is a cross-border smart logistics solutions provider in Southeast Asia (SEA), connecting merchants, logistics partners, and major industry players across the globe. As we advance towards building this integrated end-to-end logistics network of key players, our evolving data-intelligent platform will empower SEA’s ecommerce businesses to scale quickly and reliably.

Our platform will look to use AI and machine learning to enable real-time tracking, route optimization, warehouse management, and dynamic forecasting — in order to build Southeast Asia’s leading logistics network.


The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) divisionensures that Janio makes sound financial decisions. As the Senior FinancialAnalyst, you will be a key financial business partner to provide financial andanalytical support across the Group. Whether it's modelling business scenarios,tracking performance metrics or ensuring proper internal compliance, your work isintegral to strategic decision-making and operations. While working on multipleprojects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative waysto solve big picture challenges.



o   Maintain the monthly FP&A monthly reports including

   1. Constant review of existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts

   2. Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations

   3. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost and revenue results


o   Build financial models and utilise Business Intelligence (BI) tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance and opportunities


o   Plan and execute ad hoc FP&A finance projects


Financial Value-Added Services

o   Assist to strategise and implement Financial Value-Added Service products, including data analysis, stakeholder engagement and implementation follow through.

o   Monitor, solution and escalate JVAS P&L matters

Compliance and internal controls

o   Monitoring, escalation and continuous improvement customer onboarding processes

o   Assist to review customer contracts and variation addendums


  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience with a focus on financial analysis and business partnering.
  • Candidate must demonstrate with prior experience that he/she has a workstyle that is hands-on, proactive and highly adaptable, so that he/she is able to thrive in fast paced, high intensity, results-driven set-up that is expected of VC-backed hypergrowth start-up environments.
  • Must be able to perform basic financial modelling, business forecasting, cashflow analysis, sensitivity analysis, data processing, project management and be able to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • A team player who can take charge, effectively engage stakeholders, has an entrepreneurial mindset and is able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or relevant professional qualification in Accountancy or Finance; preferably Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
