What to expect in this role


Janio is a cross-border smart logistics solutions provider in Southeast Asia (SEA), connecting merchants, logistics partners, and major industry players across the globe. As we advance towards building this integrated end-to-end logistics network of key players, our evolving data-intelligent platform will empower SEA’s ecommerce businesses to scale quickly and reliably.

Our platform will look to use AI and machine learning to enable real-time tracking, route optimization, warehouse management, and dynamic forecasting — in order to build Southeast Asia’s leading logistics network.

The successful candidate will support the Finance Manager for FP&A, Financial Value-Added Servicesand Customer Onboarding functions.


o  Maintain the monthly FP&Amonthly reports including

   1. Constant review of existing processes and procedures to developrecommendations for improvement efforts

   2. Communicating results and recommendations to senior management forimprovements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation andstreamlining operations

   3. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost and revenue results


o  Build financial models andutilise Business Intelligence (BI) tools to delivery meaningful insights intobusiness performance and opportunities


o  Plan and execute ad hoc FP&Afinance projects


Financial Value-AddedServices

o  Assist to strategise andimplement Financial Value-Added Service products, including data analysis, stakeholderengagement and implementation follow through.

o  Monitor, solution and escalate JVASP&L matters

Compliance and internalcontrols

o  Monitoring, escalation and continuousimprovement customer onboarding processes

o  Assist to review customercontracts and variation addendums


  • Minimum 3 years relevantworking experience with a focus on financial analysis and business partnering.
  • Candidate must demonstrate withprior experience that he/she has a workstyle that is hands-on, proactive and highlyadaptable, so that he/she is able to thrive in fast paced, high intensity,results-driven set-up that is expected of VC-backed hypergrowth start-upenvironments.
  • Must be able to perform basic financial modelling, business forecasting, cashflow analysis, sensitivity analysis, data processing, project management and be able to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • A team player who can take charge, effectively engage stakeholders, has an entrepreneurial mindset and is able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or relevant professional qualification in Accountancy or Finance; preferably Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
