What to expect in this role


Janio is a cross-border smart logistics solutions provider in Southeast Asia (SEA), connecting merchants, logistics partners, and major industry players across the globe. As we advance towards building this integrated end-to-end logistics network of key players, our evolving data-intelligent platform will empower SEA’s ecommerce businesses to scale quickly and reliably. Our platform will look to use AI and machine learning to enable real-time tracking, route optimization, warehouse management, and dynamic forecasting — in order to build Southeast Asia’s leading logistics network.


As a senior digital marketing specialist, you will be running and optimising Janio’s full-stack of digital channels and programmes. The ideal candidate will have a quantifiable track record, with experience running integrated paid and organic campaigns. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to operate and excel at the strategic as well as tactical levels. Success will be measured largely on hitting and exceeding pipeline contribution and influence goals.


  • Building the company’s online presence
  • Developing the company website as a tool for growth through creating of site pages, content and copy
  • Developing strategies and executing digital campaigns to drive traffic, engagement and lead generation across all relevant digital and social channels through:
    • Developing and optimizing web pages, content and copy for search engine visibility and conversion
    • Content activation across non-paid channels for effective reach and conversion
    • Planning, executing and optimizing paid marketing campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google platforms etc
    • Monitoring and reporting performance across digital channels and providing recommendations for improvement
    • Coordinating all digital marketing efforts with the marketing and creative teams and with cross-functional stakeholders
    • Working closely with the sales team in contributing to revenue growth targets and attributing results to marketing efforts
    • Managing of digital marketing budget


  • At least 2 years of B2B and digital marketing experience and a track record of delivering results on defined agendas
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Hands on experience on advertising platforms and CRM tools
  • Strong communication, influencing, facilitation and presentation skills to communicate and engage with all levels of management, staff, external agencies and customers to drive business results
  • Strategic planning skills and ability to operationalize and execute plans to meet business goals
  • Solid project management skills and the ability to execute projects in a regional environment
  • Passion for driving projects, comfortable working and learning independently in a fast- paced and ambiguous environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Fluency in Chinese or Bahasa Indonesia are a plus
  • Ability to multitask, has high initiative, while being a self-starter and quick learner


  • Prior experience working in the Southeast Asian region
  • Previous experience in a high-growth startup, technology-based company or in growing businesses in emerging markets
  • Hands on experience in the following: Content marketing, SEO, paid digital marketing, product marketing, conversion rate optimization, digital marketing strategy, account-based marketing
  • Strong interest in entrepreneurship, technology and logistics
